Software Quality Assurance |
Abstract:Just as manufacturers look for ways to assure the quality of the products they produce, so too must software engineers find methods to assure that their products are of acceptable quality and utility. This discussion will offer insight into the activities performed by Software Quality Assurance Engineers in order to ensure that software life cycle processes and products conform to requirements, standards, and procedures. Some of the key elements of Software Quality Assurance to be presented are Software Quality Management, Software Metrics, Software Verification & Validation, Software Configuration Management, and the Software Engineering Process. |
