William J. Latzko, Ph.D. is the president of Latzko
Associates, a Quality Consulting Organization. He has over 50 years of
technical and management experience in manufacturing and service
industries. Also, he currently teaches
Operations Management at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business
and Quality Control and Management at
A Fellow of the American Society for Quality as well as a Certified Quality Engineer, Dr. Latzko has held many positions in ASQ Sections, Divisions and National. He received the ASQ Ellis R. Ott Award for joining quality technology and management and the W. Edwards Deming Medal.
He is the author of several books on quality and has written over 40 articles on quality control. His latest book, with David Saunders is called Four Days with Dr. Deming: A Strategy for Modern Methods of Management. He is working on his next book, An Executive’s Guide to Process Control.
